Welcome back, Arun! It's great to hear from you after such a long lull. I often wondered where you were and how - being such a hardcore Indian sports' fan that you are - managed to totally stay away from the (only reliable Indian Sports') forum . Anyway, I hope to see you posting in the other sports' related threads as often as you possibly can. Good luck with your Business school stint. BTW, congratulations on getting married! You guys look absolutely stunning and make a lovely couple.

Believe it or not, I did not even know where the McCombs school was. I had somehow not noticed that the U.of.Texas school of business had been renamed in 2000 - which is strange, because I usually notice everything about my alma mater. May be it is just that I don't care much for business schools (any of them out there!) anyway, and the whole matter just left my mind quickly. Having said that, I had always felt that on the academic (research) side, the Texas business school was quite good, and perhaps among the best - at least it was, in the late 80s when I was there. But on overall business school reputation, which is what counts in Business, it is well below quite a few other places with much more gas and alumni strength/reputation, though perhaps less substance
