Excellent - I'm glad that was confirmed. Also worth noting that Karun will be the #2 driver for Hispania behind Bruno Senna, but it should be a good relationship because the two of them have been teammates already in other racing classes & are reputed to get along very well. Even though they have a snowball's chance in hell of scoring points, I must entirely support Hispania now - both an Indian driver & the nephew of my favorite driver ever.

Interesting stat, with Karun Chandhok joining 2008 iSport's teammate Bruno Senna at the Spaniard outfit, this makes this season's Formula One grid made of 50% GP2 series graduates, with eleven racers coming from what has now firmly become F1 strongest feeder series.

Forgettable debut for Karun in Formula1 ... Karun Chandhok crashed his HRT on the second lap.

Ferrari finished one and two, Fernando Alonso won this Bahrain Grand Prix over Felipe Massa ... McLaren' Lewis Hamilton finished 3rd but Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel was unlucky ... German Vettel was leading race from the start but after lap 30 Red Bull's car faced mechanical problem (exhaust problems) and car lost its power ... In end he finished on 4th place ... Mercedes GP's Nico Rosberg finished ahead of his team-mate 7 times champion Michael Schumacher on 5th place ... Schumi finished on 6th position ... 2009 champion Jenson Button finished on 7th and Red Bull’s Mark Webber on 8th ... Force India open their account as Vitantonio Liuzzi finished on 9th and last point taken by Williams Rubens Barrichello.

It was a miracle that Karun managed to complete one lap as his car was not ready and at one point they had given up....
Saw his interview on the qualifying day and he looked very cool (with Coulthard and Eddie Jordan interviewing him), inspite of the car problems.
Hispania will need time and I hope they will will be ready after another couple of races to compete with the new comers....

At 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship, Australia

So this week also Force India earned points as Vitantonio Liuzzi finished on 7th position ... Importantly Karun Chandhok finished his and the HRT team’s first-ever finish, at the second attempt.

Jenson Button scored win ahead of Robert Kubica for Renault, ahead of the Ferraris of Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso ... Michael Schumacher struggled and maanged 10th position.

More points for Force India as Adrian Sutil finishes FIFTH in Malaysia after starting fourth on the grid. Solid performance through & through & more evidence that Sutil will contend in every race. No one is matching the pace of the two Red Bull cars right now, but Force India is definitely in the chasing pack.

Karun Chandhok finished the race again, but he & his teammate were the last four finishers.

Yes, good performance by Force India car ... Good to see Karun managed to complete another Formla 1 race for HRT, this time with Bruno Senna ... So good data accumulation for HRT for future races.

Sutil finishes seventh in Spain, picking up more points.

Chandhok is involved in an accident & does not finish (not his fault apparently).

Yes good result for Sutil after qualifying on 11th position ... Yes, Karun was unlucky after mistake from Toro Rosso’s Jaime Alguersuari .
Toro Rosso’s Jaime Alguersuari claimed a point at home despite a drive-through penalty for clobbering Karun Chandhok’s HRT in an odd accident in which the Spaniard passed the Indian but turned in well before he’d cleared his car. Chandhok subsequently lost his front wing but retired with associated damage after pitting for a replacement. With HRT’s Bruno Senna crashing in Turn Four on the opening lap, it wasn’t a great outing for the Spanish team.

Both Force India's drivers finished in the points at Monaco ... Sutil finished on 9th and Liuzzi on 10th.

Jarno Trulli tried to overtke Karun Chandhok and ended in scary accident on 74th lap ... But luckily both drivers were uninjured.

Webber and Vettel finished 1-2 for RBR-Renault.

Schumacher is almost certain to be demoted to last place among the finishers for overtaking while the safety car was out, so Force India guys will end up finishing 8th & 9th respectively.
