Tomorrow we will see the return of Jeev, after 3 weeks rest/break.
He is playing the WGC event and tees up in the first group along with David Toms and Jaidee.
Not sure how much practice Jeev had for this event.
Hope he plays well and gets in shape for next weeks Major.
VJ is also in the filed.
Good luck Jeev Singh and VJ Singh. :goodluck:

The last hole bogey meant Jeev finished even par for the day. Earlier Jeev missed a 4ft birdie on the penultimate hole. An average start for Jeev. Hopefully, he will soon have a great round. :goodluck:

Vijay Singh also finished his round at even par. The current leader is the Thai Prayad Marksaeng at -4.

After the end of day 1 Jeev found himself at T27 position with an even par round. He could have been easly -2 for the day and T8 but for the missed birdie from 4 ft and a bogey on the last hole. Harrington(-6) leads the field, four strokes less than the Tiger Woods(-2). The other Singh is also tied with Jeev.

Jeev is tied for 49th place with 3 over after third round ... After scoring PAR round in first round he managed one over in second round and two over in second round.

Not a good tournament for Jeev as he finished T64 with scores of 70 71 72 76. This earned him a purse of $40,750.00

Good start for Jeev as he birdies the first hole and pars the second. Hoping for the best! Go Jeev! Tiger Harrigton contest that started last week, is still going strong as they are paired together and occupy the top two positions on the leaderboard.

Jeev had a mediocre first round, finishing on 2-over par 74 to be tied (with Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples, Tim Weir, etc.) at 69th on the leaderboard.

Tiger Woods leads at 5-under, Padraig Harrington is second a shot adrift, and Vijay Singh (among others) is tied at 3rd. Somehow the PGA championship brings out the best in Vijay (who, sadly, has clearly well past his peak about 3-4 years ago when he was truly competing head-to-head with Tiger).

Jeev is hovering just near the cut line. He has done ok for today so far as he is even par for the day after 11 holes. Well! as soon as I wrote the above line, he makes a bogey. So he is now below the cut line. I guess the cut line, which is +2 at the moment will move to at least +3. However, I w'd prefer Jeev finish the day at par or better and make the cut comfortably.

I think making the cut is a par performance for Jeev considering he is coming out of injury. I'm not having any high expectation this time.

Vijay Singh is par for the day after 15 holes and he remains T3 at -3. He had 2 birdies and 2 bogeys today. He is on the par 5 7th hole and a birdie can move him to second spot.

Edit OK, Jeev got the birdie on the next hole (par 3 4th) itself. So he is now +2 overall and T62. Today's round includes 3 birdies and 3 bogeys in 13 holes. 5 more holes to go. He played these holes at -1 yesterday. I hope he repeats that. Go Jeev!

A bogey on 8th (his 17th) resulted in 1 over par round for Jeev. So Jeev finished at +3, right at the current projected line. He is currently T68, which is going to improve by few spots as the 2nd round gets over. After missing the cut at Masters and US Open and missing the British Open tournament itself, I'm glad to see Jeev make the cut here. Hopefully, the next two days he'll climb up the ladder. Go Jeev!

Vijay finished the 2nd round at par and he is currently T4, 1 stroke behind the leaders.

Jeev comfortably made the cut, and now stands at T48 on 3-over par (10 strokes behind the leaders). Vijay is T2 (alongwith Harrington and a few others). I hope Jeev plays pressure-less golf in the final two rounds and climbs toward the top-10 before the end of the tournament.

Nice performance by the Singh duo so far (I think there may be more Singhs in this tournament than any other last name). Looks like Vijay has found his putting strole again with a short putter and hopefully both Vijay and Jeev will stay strong through the weekend.

Asians are the most experienced at slaying Tigers. Well done to Yang for a fantastic final round. Calmness personified, apart from that put on the 17th when he was coming out of the shadows. He out-Tigered the Tiger.

Jeev finished on +11, T67
