I think the best thing is that God is watching over Bhupathi. I mean think about it. The guy has so many problems in the world to solve but he is still watching over Bhupathi because he is fighting to clear his name. He is fighting to get reinstated in a team where he will not be selected anyway. God has his eyes fixed on Bhupathi even when he goes to the bathroom, takes a shower, etc. Bhupathi has faith that he is even there when he is in bed with his wife. Not God, I meant Bhupathi is in bed with his wife. No, not Bhupathi is not in bed with God's wife, I meant Bhupathi's wife. And, watching. That voyeur person! Well if I had such a world-wide monitoring system, then I would watch the young and the beautiful too from time to time. Don't blame him. But, unlike God, I certainly cannot keep watching all the time. That would be boring.

In science today, there is a problem of too much data. There is so much data that it is hard to connect all the dots and process them in real-time and find things. God is watching so much around the world, I wonder whether he has a data problem too and sometimes things slip under his radar. Ya, that guy is having sex again. Ya, that guy is taking a leak again. Yes, that gal is brushing her teeth again. Yes, that gal is fidgeting with her makeup again for over an hour. AITA is hoping that even though God is watching, he will not register that the AITA data is important.

Personally, I think that God fella has given up. Really! Think about it. War in Afghanistan. God watches and goes for the remote. Next channel, chaos in the middle east. Next. This God chap created the universe and then has really been lazy the last hundred years or so. I don't see him coming down with a big STOP sign and halting the wars. Or any other big thing. Maybe watching-fatigue got him. Poor God. I would not take his job if all I did was watching and not taking part in all the fun. And I don't mean going to the bathroom. So, I don't blame him for just watching and doing nothing!

After all, it was a simple matter of ignoring Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna whenever it came to selecting a team that would represent the country.

Instead, he chose to make a noise about a two-year suspension which has now seen Mahesh Bhupathi throw a kick serve his way that has bounded over his head.

I agree that they could have just ignored Mahesh & Rohan & nobody would raised a voice with the kind of form they are at the moment. However, this has come back to hurt Khanna. Lets see if he is able to get thru this.

Actually, maybe something good will come out of this. The court ruling will transcribe what process must be followed and what are grounds for suspensions and who has what rights. It may be narrowly tailored but at least maybe this will prevent sports organizations doing totally ad-hoc things in vengeance.

Watched mahesh's talk with arnab goswami, on times now. What ever he said about corruption and nepotism, is a common talk and same with all associations. And there is no reason not to believe him on this count. However, he was totally cornered when asked about his charges that anil khanna was pursuing divide and rule policy and was firing from lee's shoulder and that khanna was responsible for his rift with Lee. Overall mahesh projected a picture of a very immature child but a cunning businessman who is bothered that this ban may put a stop to his tennis business interest. When nhe was asked the reasons for his split with Lee, he said people have been asking this question for the last 13 years and I will not answer that. WHY? On one hand he is charging khanna for this split and on the other hand he is avoiding this answer for the last thirteen years. Lee and mahesh are responsible professionals and if they allow themselves to be used by khanna then either khanna is too shrewd or these two are immature.

Wow! The continuing saga of "The Old and the Heshless"! Easy to get drawn into taking sides, pointing blame, rationalising behaviours, defending positions, wringing hands, lamenting states et.

I'm just enjoying the show, man! Quite the match. Long rallies. Twist serves. Volleys fired. Sharp returns. If this were real tennis, these guys would be Top 10!
