Kimi became 8th consecutive driver to win Spanish GP from pole position … Felipe Massa finished second and Ferrari achieved another 1-2 finish.

Fernando Alonso, who qualified 2nd for the race had forgettable race, he was running fifth when his engine blew up.

Heikki Kovalainen should consider lucky after his high speed accident without broken bones and CT scan performed at the hospital confirm that he has no head injuries, he crashed his McLaren heavily after a front-end failure (the front-left tyre and rim to separate) in 22nd lap.

Fisichella finished on 10th position to give acceptable result for Force India ... In end clear instructions were coming for Fisichella from Force India pit crew - 'Push Fisi, PH (Push Hard) PH' ... :D

The Turkish circuit is probably the most technical racetrack (i.e. non-street) circuit in F1. Small wonder that Massa does well every time, since he probably has the most pure racing nous of the current set of drivers. He doesn't seem to have the pure speed to keep up with Raikkonen/Hamilton on the simpler circuits though.

In the race curtailed to 2 hours, Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) win the race with 76 laps completed. Kubica (BMW Sauber) & Massa (Ferrari) takes the other positions in the podium.

Force India clearly unlucky here. Adrial Sutil was in the 4th position, and on lap 68 Raikkonen breaks late and bumps into the back of Sutil pushing him out of the race. This could have been a memorable day for Force India.

A super race from Adrian Sutil who kept out of trouble all through the race. Real bad luck getting bumped from behind by Kimi. I think that bump cost Force India a million dollars or what ever one gets for getting into the points table. Ferrari better pay up
Fisi must have had problems as he kept getting overtaken easily.

what would have been a glorious day for Force India team, turned out to be a real disappointment! :(
Adrian Sutil, Force India (DNF):
"I can't believe it, it was so close. It feels like a pain in my heart. It is like a dream gone to a nightmare - suddenly you are in the car and it looks all fantastic, then you have to accept it is not going to happen. We had a really good strategy and it seemed to work and we were so close to the podium and the points. It was after the restart after the final safety car that Kimi had a problem under braking and crashed into the back of my car. The race was over and it was a real shock. A few tears came out as the adrenaline was high - I just can't explain it. All the same I am so pleased that we did show what we can finally do as a team."

Yes, very unlucky incident for Sutil and Force India ... In this race Force India used good strategy as per race track and Sutil responded well but Kmis had different plan ... ;)

Hamilton's stupid mistake cost him and Kimi the race but Robert Kubica take full advantage of this incidents filled race to scored his and BMW Sauber long due maiden victory in Montreal.

With this win Kubica is leading with 42 pts ... Hamilton and Massa r second with 38 pts and Kimi is on 4th position with 35 pts.
All of the leaders pitted on Lap 19, and as Hamilton rejoined, having dropped behind Raikkonen and Kubica after a longer stop, he ran into the back of the Finn, whom he suddenly realised was stopped by the red pit-lane exit light. Both the Ferrari and the McLaren were too damaged to continue. Nico Rosberg also damaged his Williams by running into the rear of Hamilton in the incident.

As expected, race stewards penalized McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton and Williams’ Nico Rosberg for their pit-lane incident in Canada, they will drop 10 places on the grid at the next round of the championship in France as penalty.

After watching the incident, that is a mild penalty for Hamilton. It was a completely boneheaded mistake. Wonder why he swerved at the last minute & took out Kimi instead of the other car that was more directly in front of him. Top F1 driver can't see a red light?
