Today Jeev couldn't manage to produce yestrday's magic and scored 2 under to finished tied 3 ... But Brendan Jones amazingly scored 9 under to won title by a stroke.

Sad that Jeev couldn't quite retain his title. But it is wonderful to see him end 2007 on a decent note (his very best finish of the year) after a very disappointing year (which turned into one long hang-over from his spectacular 2006). Jeev played superbly all week, so there can be no complaints about his performance in this tournament. It's just that one golfer had an even more spectacular tournament (and especially a final round).

If you check the score, Jeev was tied first as he came to the last hole. He needed a birdie to win and par to goto the playoff. Unfortunately, he made a double bogey  :damn: He came so close to win his first title of the year, but the luck deserted him.

Very unfortunate. Even a bogey would have given him sole second place.....
But that's how his year has gone. Nothing much happened in 2007 after a happening 2006.
He improves his ranking to 78th.
A win would have lifetd his ranking to around 68th.
So no invite to Masters in 2008 unless he can claw back to Top 50 in early 2008.
Hope to see a better year from Jeev next year.
