Arjun desperately needs a win to get his PGA Tour card for 2008.
He has to go for broke as very few events are remaining........ Go AA Go..

Not a good start for Arjun.. A treble bogey on par 4 11th hole (he started on back 9).. After a birdie, he is currently +2 (thru 4 holes)

Arjun recovered with 3 birdies but then bogeyed the 4th hole.. He is currently 'E' thru 13 holes and par 5 coming up.. Needs to go at least -2 rest of the way

Edited: he had a double and bogey to go +3 for the day :damn:

:damn:Misses CUT.... Hoeps of getting card by finishing in top 25 are fading for Arjun.
Next week he has entered both the PGA & NW events.
He is first alternate at the PGA event - so he should get in.
Lets see which event Arjun chooses to play......

Arjun withdraws from the PGA event.
He still believes he can earn card by finishing top 25 in NW Tour...
Else, he can atleast finish high enough to get into second stage of qualies and worst case try and keep his NW card for 2008.

Good luck AA in the NW event.

It is sad that Arjun is reduced to making these Hobson's choices every week. Next year (or perhaps during the off-season, November-December) he might should consider playing a few APGA events to recharge his batteries, get back to winning ways and get his general confidence level up.

At Albertsons Boise Open Pres'd - First Round

T121 Arjun Atwal  72  +1

Nothing is going right for Arjun these days ... He scored 1 over on players friendly course and languished in bottom of the field ... :(

Arjun literally finished bottom.  :damn:
He has withdrawn with 3 holes left to play. If he had played on, he would have really finished last..... :tomato:
His playing partner is -6 for the round with one more to play with no bogeys.
Arjun had so many bogeys and took 9 on par 4.
Not sure where he is heading now. we can only wish GOOD LUCK and hope his fortunes turn for the good.........

Good news - Arjun finished with 4 birdies in 5 holes (total of 7 birdies)
Bad news - Arjun had one double and 3 bogeys to finish with 2 under.

Arjun is currently T45 and would need to bring his A+ game to finish in top 5 for the tournament. Leader is at 10 under so far

Well the good news is that Arjun finished very well with 4 birdies in last 5 holes, and he would go home satisfied that he salvaged his round in an excellent manner and finished under par. Hopefully, the bad patch is out for him. C'mon Arjun, keep those bogeys away.

Still first round is going on and golfers r easily scoring low score on this friendly course ... Tomorrow Arjun needs atleast 3 under (safer side 4 under) round to be sure of making cut.

At Chattanooga Classic - First Round

T69 Arjun Atwal  70 - 2

Whats the problem with Arjun at NW tour. He has started with 3 straight bogeys. He is now playing 4th hole, He'll need around 5 birdies and additional birdies for any mor bogeys to make the cut.  :damn:

Arjun finished his second round with 1 under, still 2nd round is going to finish ... But frankly Arjun doesn't have chance of making the cut with 3 under ... So another lost opportunity after decent 2 weeks on PGA tour.

At Chattanooga Classic - Second Round

------------ Current Cut line @ -4 ------------
T66 Arjun Atwal  70 71 - 3
