Sapna Patel, a player of Indian origin, is also playing in the Futures Tour.  As you may recall from last year’s posts, Sapna was born in Australia, went to College of Charleston, was a four-time All-Southern Conference Team selection from 2001 to 2005, and turned professional in 2005.  She played in 14 tournaments in 2005, made cut 5 times, her best finish was T25 and earned $1,084.  She has done a little better in 2006, and has made 5 cuts in 11 events and has made $1,288 so far.

Good luck to Smriti and Sapna.
