Re: TennisIndia Daily updates
Jay,
Can you change the link on the TennisIndia site where it says "get the latest tennis news on the internet" so that it becomes a link to the forum? I don't know how easy it is to do that but it would be great if the two could be linked.

Re: TennisIndia Daily updates
Jay, there is still strong demand for a revival of your daily updates...Today, I met with Kim Das, one of the longest-standing veterans of the original Indian tennis fan club you had established. Kim says he visits the forum very regularly, but doesn't post here, partly because (being very busy) he hasn't yet figured out how to navigate the site.
But he REALLY REALLY misses the Daily Updates, and continues to hope that you will revive them. He says he regularly emails Jay imploring him to re-start them. So there, that should be motivation enough, Jay!!

Re: TennisIndia Daily updates
I got quite a few emails from old-timers to get going .. I really will restart. Honest. Just a bit gun-shy, with a few other things to take care of, lately, that is all.
Give me a few more weeks and I will restart ..

Jay,
If you need help we would do it.. may be you can let some of us do one day a week .. so that we get the daily updates and also it is not solely on your shoulders to do it..
May be I am writing this prematurely without even knowign the depth of the daily updates.. oooopss

Re: TennisIndia Daily updates
Hi Jay,
Met a few people in Manchester who were asking about the site. I mentioned about the forum and they raised the point that it would be good to have a link to the forum on the front page of Tennis India.
Any thoughts about distributing the notes to a group of people on a daily basis?

Re: TennisIndia Daily updates
I am thinking of some plans. I promise I will start it very soon. Somdev is forcing the issue for sure, and Olympics is coming too. Let me get back to LA and settle down after a busy early part of the summer... Probably in a couple of weeks time, if not sooner. Will leave links etc too.

The notes have restarted .. http://www.tennisindia.org
[OK, I have to update the three flagship pages a bit more, and decide on a few other things, but the daily notes are on again, as of today.. For how long? Who knows! ..]

Re: TennisIndia Daily updates
There's something soothing about seeing those notes up again...makes me feel like im 14 all over again
However Jay, some rust is expected after a year long hibernation, but I just thought I'd point out (aside from a few typos ) that you made an error. Rohan reached the final in Newport with Aisam, not Prakash!
But thanks for bringing it back...Stay awake this year!
