Look, i was just saying that law enforcement agencies anywhere in the world (even in USA where police response is very fast ) cannot do much to prevent these barbaric acts from happening,
:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: . Ok looked at your post :)

I wasn't complaining about the law enforcement and all. People should realize! In USA you don't see people helplessly watching or worst supporting these acts. And as Puneets said it has a lot to do with education. You saw the crowd there right? They were not even trying to untie her!!

I don't expect but you give free explanations right? That is why I asked.

And by the way please tell me where to get common sense? I will surely buy some. You must surely be knowing this! Obviously you know everything right :rofl: . You are funny Jimmy!

Nobody here said that these things don't happen anywhere else in the world.]

Nothing new said :
wasn't complaining about the law enforcement and all. People should realize! In USA you don't see people helplessly watching or worst supporting these acts. And as Puneets said it has a lot to do with education. You saw the crowd there right? They were not even trying to untie her!!
KAtrina looting took place in the broad daylight and that too in front of police personnel.
You are the only one here who started comparing it to US..and now you're providing us with links.
A mere comparison to USA irks you ppl ;
surely u have become yankees in attitude.
Your posts are enough for us to gauge your common-sense...seems its not that 'common' these days.
i would surely admit that you are endowed with another sense which is very ,very common and that is " ............"

Come on people, stop this silly back and forth ... You all generally know what each everyone is trying to say. So the discussion seems to be more about scoring a point over each other - which is normally not the style in our forum ... I know we all have the tendancy to argue, but somebody stop somewhere along the way, guys!

By the way there is a reason why I obliquely asked how USA got into it. I am not sure that jimmy realized this compariosn, but the first thing that came to my mind when I saw that picture were the notorious lynching of blacks in the US south. upside down hanging and all that. Old story, but even a few years back I read about a racist incident in some uneducated corner of deep south where a black man was tied to a rope and dragged by a pick up truck for miles, etc. On the other hand, those who live in the US and travel abroad know that it is much less a racist a country than even many of the places in Europe where they have the false pride that they are all so much more humane, fair and equanimous than the US etc. But I digress...

Anyway, cool it guys...

Sandeep -- I did not say that Eeenadu morphed the picture. If they obtained the picture from any source, it is not impossible that they got duped with a morphed picture, because it looks seriously morphed. If they took the picture, then I have a more serious question - what is their cameraman doing, taking this picture rather than stop what is going on there and help the woman? -- And what is the newspaper doing, publishing such a picture anyway? -- There are some journalistic ethics questions that come to mind.

Jay
