Unfortunately, Arjun had a bad start and he could never recover. He was lucky to make the cut as when I last saw the leaderboard, he was in the bubble and just missing the cut at T71. There were very few players left in the field. But looks like ine of those few players had a bad hole and dropped down to make the way for all the players at +1.

Arjun has now got this opportunity to play during the weekend and he must make full use of it. He really need to go low in next two days. Go Arjun, you can do it.

On the other hand, Daniel after a steady first round, made good progress in the second round as he shot 69 today and climbed up into top 10. But he hasn't yet played his best yet in this tournament. Hopefully, he'll come out with an excellent round in the 3rd round and get in contention. Go Daniel!

Daniel had a bogey free round (to go along with four birdies) and is currently tied 3rd with -9 under for tournament three strokes off the pace.. This is the best chance for Daniel for his first breakthrough win in PGA

Arjun finally reduced his number of bogeys to 1 and with five birdies is currently tied for 40th (-3 under for tournament).. needs at least -6 or -7 to finish in top 20.. comeon Arjun

Disastrous start for Arjun .. Double bogey and bogey on par 5 (which is equivalent to treble bogey) and is back to 'E' for the tournament and Tied 54.. needs some magic to finish in top 30  :(

Sad to see Arjun's struggle ... Another lost opportunity for him to finished top in this weak field ... Its becoming more tougher for him to secure 2007 PGA Tour card.

Daniel also lost big opportunity to finished in top 5 and with 2 over mnaged to finished outside top 15 ... :(

At Southern Farm Bureau Classic

T16 Daniel Chopra 71 68 68 74 -7
T67 Arjun Atwal 69 76 68 76 +1

:damn: Arjun is slowly slipping and somehow needs to stay inside top 150 to get partial exemption for 2007 and have a go a final PGA qualifying.......He is 143rd and he should have fond memories of this weeks event at Greenboro where he finished well to get into top 150 in 2004.... Hope the same tournament saves him and secures his PGA card or atleast guarantees top 150.

Daniel's last round blues continues. He has had 4 or 5 opportunities this year. Invariably falterd on the last day. Hopefully he has now learnt from this and will win the next time he is in such a position.....

Good start by both as Daniel played in the morning and finished with -4. A sole bogey on 17th hole resulted in his missing top 10 start as he ended tied 20th. His card also included an eagle on par 5 2nd hole and 3 birdies.

Arjun also eagled 2nd hole and hit six more birdies, but he also got 3 bogeys. So he finished T10 with a card of -5. It could have been better as he missed quite a few putts under 6 ft that resulted in two bogeys and few missed birdies. Still that's a good start for him. But the question is whether he can put 3 more good rounds to finish with a good result. C'mon Arjun you can do it.

We knows Arjun able to do it ... Only he needs to play one good tournament with consistent golfing rounds and then we will experience different Arjun in remaining tournaments.

No pressure but there are not that many tournaments remaining.  Arjun needs a top 5 or better here to ensure a top 125 money list finish for this year and retain his full card for next year.

Arjun Atwal did just enough to most likely make the cut.  His three bogeys and two birdies put him at -4 and it should be enough to give him a chance to play on the weekend.  This will be his third tournament in a row where he has made the cut.  His 2006 prize money of $481,342 puts him in 143rd place and if he can consistently win money at the remaining tournaments then he can get the conditional card for 2007.  A great performance can propel him into top 125 money list and it will get him the 2007 PGA Tour card.

Money list:
125.  Lee Westwood $630,566
143.  Arjun Atwal  $481,342
150.  Skip Kendall $433,014

The positive thing about the second round (1 over par) is that Arjun did't play a bad round. He makes the cut comfortably as the cut is likely to remain at -2. He remains in a position where he has chances to get a good result. Going into the weekend, anything can happen. It would be great if Arjun can clinch a conditional card for 07 in this tournament and then go all out for full card in the remaining tournaments.

Daniel is also having an up and down second round. He is 1 over par as he makes 4th bogey of the day on 3rd hole. So he has now played 12 holes w/ 3 birdies and 4 bogeys that ties him at 49th position currently.

The pro golfers earn their livelihood playing in good and bad conditions.  Yesterday it was bright and sunny and today it is wet and windy.  The temperature is hovering around 56 degrees F and I am sure that the golfers are finding the going quite tough.  Daniel is +1 for the day after playing 12 holes and he will be a happy man if he get to the clubhouse without dropping another stroke.

Daniel Chopra was on the verge of missing the cut at Greensboro when he was at one-under-par after playing 32 holes and the cut line staying at two-under-par, but he made a birdie with three holes left to play and then made pars on the last two holes to finish at -2.

Arjun Atwal (-4) and Daniel Chopra (-2) will be seen in action over the weekend and I hope that they can do better than they have done in the first two rounds.

After barely squeezing into weekend play in Greensboro, Daniel came out firing on all cylinders and played the third round at six under par 66.  He made seven birdies until he made his first and only bogey of the round on the par-four 16th hole.

Arjun Atwal is -1 after playing 13 holes today.  He just holed an eagle from 44 yards on the par-five 13th hole.  :D

Daniel Chopra vaulted from a tie for 56th place to a tie for sixth after shooting a sizzling 66 in the third round.  At -8, he is two strokes off the co-leaders Davis Love and Chris Couch.  His first PGA Tour title is due anyday and if he can keep his last round blues in check on Sunday, he can be lokking at holding the trophy and $900,000 check.

Arjun Atwal made an even par 72 today and it dropped him from a tie for 28th to a tie for 37th place.

Good luck Arjun and Daniel.
