Dhruv,

Is it possible in some way to edit one's own post in the display page itself rather than having to click on the edit tab, modify the stuff and submit it again....

It cud be very useful especially when someone is giving us score updates!!

Unfortunately not. Possible most likely but I can't think of an easy way to do it so no.

Hi Dhruv.
In the forum index or in the new posts index, the last post has the foll details:

Date
Time
Posters id linked to profile

Can the link be to the last post thru the date and time or thread title? I have seen this in other forums using same / similar platform. THat way one can go directly to the last post or just to that page.

Shaili it is possible to get to the last post...Jus click on the small white paper next to the ID of the person who has posted last..tht takes you directly to the last post...You don hve to go thru the forum, then thru its thread then to the display page!

It is funny. I had never clicked on that little arrow and white paper picture next to the last poster's name. Hey, the moderator also learns some things occasionally :) .. But I had never looked for the facility that shaili asked for; it is good to know that the facility exists!

What! You guys never clicked that white paper thingy!
I do it all the time :)
It says "View latest post" when you take the mouse over it.

I never did that too! But what is the point in reading last post without knowing what the discussion is?

Given the frequency of visits to sports-india, there are not many posts between the last post..and the first unread post :D
So it comes in quite handy.

By the way has the site been becoming slower and slower over the past 3-6 months. Just wondering if it was just imagination or should I be taking steps to rectify it.
