Request for a Sania Home page

Yep. Anybody wants to make a nice design for me to put up and starting keeping up? I could make one, but it won't be all that nice .. Of course, in our no-nonsense tradition, we are looking for a page with info and updates, not a whole lot of jazz and java.

Jay,
How about just using the same design as LP/MB pages. They are well designed by Prakash Hemdev I think.
By the way, where is this guy these days?

OK, I guess I could use the same design. Just need to make some graphics and all.

Prakash Hemdev is still around (somewhere in Los Angeles I think, but I have lost touch with him)...

Thanks R_I .. According to the above suggestion by Indian, we should stick to our no-jazz matter-of-fact web design from Prakash Hemdev.

I could still use a bit of help from you (or any of you web design gurus with graphics tools), though.

I have made the web page and have made the digital-font "sania mirza" and all that in the same style. I am not happy with the small-letter "sm" I have made for the left top corner (as in the LP and MB page). Can you make one with similar glossy blob-effect, as in the LP/MB pages?

I have all the rest of it almost ready to go, and the page is ready for launch soon ..

Morning, when I got up I saw a Post in sania's home page by Jayakris. I very enthusiastically open the thread( I thought Jay has posted that sania's home page is started and he must have asked the forum members to check it), but i got thoroughly dissapointed

that he want to delete the discussion. Jay, launch the home page very soon. I am waiting on what information does that page have

nothingnew -- it should be in the Davis Cup thread ... My mistake; getting that PA vs HM discussion started. I have moved those posts to the Davis Cup thread now.

As for the Sania page, barring distractions today (President's day holiday) I may get it done today and have it up soon.

Doing both Sania and Shikha. Just a similar page as LP's and MB's. Nothing too great, except in their signifcance as the "badge of honor" from the fans!

The Sania page is now up. Standard format, and nothing earthshattering as I said. We are not known for jazz anyway. We will have news and score updates faster than anywhere else though

I do want to add a picture page though. Now it is linked to this forum's picture albums - where there are a good number of SM pictures, though not all in one place.
