JPGA 2005: Jeev and Dinesh Chand
Chin up. Jeev did not crumble, but he could not excel too. He tried hard but he just could not bring back his touch. He had 3 bogies and 1 birdie - a poor round but not a devastating one. As I said just after the first round, he needed another excellent round, which unfortunately never came.

Dinesh Chand skipped this week's Acom International 2005 ... But Jeev is playing ... And what mixed round for him.
He scored 6 bogeys and 6 birdies in first round ... He was +3 after 15th hole but scored consecutive 3 birdies to end round in style ... He is currently T53 rd position with PAR round.
Hoping this would be Jeev's one of bad round of the tournament and he will surge ahead in remaining 3 days.

Kumar my hope ruined with Jeev's another memorable perfromance on JPGA Tour ...
Today Jeev managed to score 7 bogeys (on 3rd, 6th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 15th and 18th holes) and may be he was thinking that was less so he also managed to score a double bogey on 4th hole ... With that he scored 2 birdies on 1st and 5th hole and an egale on 16th hole ... so with +5 round he ended his participation on this event on T99 position.

I put a complaint to JGTO regarding this, and I recived this answer.ajay wrote:Does any body know why JPGA live updates freeze around their lunch time. Like yesterday, their scores are stuck with last update on 09/18 12:35 (Japan time).
Does live scoring on internet affects TV viewershipDiscontinuation of live scoring during the ANA open was intentional
due to reason that it carried impact to TV broadcasting in Japan.
TV broadcasting of the tournament in Japan is not live, i.e.
a video taped recording broadcasted with an approximately 3 hrs
delay.
Thus, audience rating may be negatively impacted should results
be announced before the broadcast.
However, this decision making is not JGTO's will but the strong
request of the tournament sponsors as well as TV stations.
Though JGTO has been enthusiastically efforting to negotiate with
sponsors and TV stations since we launched our live scoring over the
internet back in 1999, favorable results have not yet been seen.
We have communicated to sponsors and TV stations that we wished to
continue live broadcasting for audience abroad that have no Japanese
TV broadcast access and therefore look forward to these live scorings.
However, reality is that they have not expressed understanding.
Please do understand the reason as stated in the above surrounding
discontinuation of live scoring.

Coca-Cola Tokai Classic 2005
Jeev has started his first round and got his first birdie at par 3 5th. He also birdied the par 5 7th and now parred the par 3 8th. So after 8 holes he is -2 and T24th. The current leader is T.Taniguchi who has finished his round at -6.

I don't care what Kumar going to comment on my early celebration ... But frankly I don't know when Jeev again going to give me this chance of celebration ...
After end of the first round Jeev is leading Coca-Cola Tokai Classic 2005 with single stroke ... He carded unblemished -7 ... Jeev carded 5 under on back 9 ... He scored consecutive birdies on par 4 11th and par 5 12th ... Then on par 5 15th hole he scored eagle and ended his first round in style with scoring birdie on par 4 18th.
So after first round Jeev is sitting alone at top of the leaderboard with -7 score.
Coca-Cola Tokai Classic Leaderboard
1 J.M.Singh -7
T2 T.Taniguchi -6
T2 T.Taniguchi -6
T2 Y.E.Yang -6
T17 D.Chand -3
Go Jeev complete this tournament without ur (in)famous over PAR round/s.

I see it as the best round of the day and that is always worthy of celebration.
If Jeev plays one more best round of the day and two other under par round, he can win. Go Jeev!!

It was a rollercoaster for Jeev. 5 birdies and 4 bogeys . First round turned out to be super as it was bogeyless. But at least birdie count was more than bogey count in this round and that's good As I wished, Jeev has now played one average. Now in the remaining two rounds, he need to play at least one best round of the day and another subpar round on the 2nd day. Go Jeev! You can do it!
Jeev is currently tied 2nd with -8 total. He can be overtaken by one or at the most two player in the currently ongoing 2nd round. But he is set to remain in top 5 half way.

Standing after 2nd round at Coca-Cola Tokai Classic 2005 -
1 W.T.Yeh -9
T2 S.Ishigaki -8
T2 J.M.Singh -8
T7 D.Chand -6
Ajay guessed correctly and Jeev remained in top 5 after end of second round... But I hope Ajay's prediction of 'this was Jeev's Average round' become true.
Dinesh Chand also remain in contention with another under 3 round.

So thats another round gone. Its usually the round after a superb showing, where you likely to falter, as you try that bit extra and try to match previous days efforts. Hopefully tomorrow Jeev will pull off a 67-68 to be right up there for Sunday.

Jeev, instead of playing 2 under, played a two over par round to drop to -6 over all after the 3rd day Note that he was -7 after first day. With this he has also dropped out of top 10. He is no longer in contention and even a top 5 needs a round like his first round. He'll primarily will be playing for a top 10 in his last round.
Dinesh Chand played a tw under to go to -8 and T8, 5 strokes behind the leader at -13.
