The last tournament of the year for Daniel is The 2004 MasterCard Masters, which will be held at Huntingdale Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia from 9th - 12th December.
It will be a great way for him to finish his season with a victory.

I heard from dan's wife (Sam) and Daniel was very tired on the first day of the Australian PGA tournament and did not have a good round. He felt better on the next three days and his scores improved. He missed about 5 birdies on the last day and if he had made some of them he could have finished higher. He feels more comfortable on the golf course than earlier, and one of the points that top golfers like Vijay, Tiger, etc say is that to win a PGA tournament you have to feel that you belong in that group.

2004 MasterCard Masters - second day
Daniel slipped down the leaderboard on the second day but made the cut. Hopefully he will have enough strength left in him to play the last two days of the tournament and have a good showing. He must be one tired golfer after playing in so many events in 2004.

2004 MasterCard Masters - third day
Daniel had another par round of 72. I think that tiredness is taking its toll on Daniel. He will be happy to go home and rest for about three weeks.

This news has nothing to do with Indian players but since this forum is big in tennis, I will share a news item about tennis and golf.
Former Australian Davis Cup player Scott Draper finished 12th in a field of 80 on Friday and was one of 37 golfers to gain his playing card for the Australasian Tour for 2005.

Like last year, Daniel is once again playing in Australian tour in these closing months of the year. Daniel finished first round at even par and he is T38th at MFS Australian Open Championship. The leaderboard is led by Robert Allenby as he played a superb first round of 9 under par.
