Hi VKD,

Wiliams r still have to decide on who is their second driver ... They r not declaring whom they approach after Button fiasco ... As u know Mark Webber is their first driver and with second they can produce surprise.

Jaguar looking for a new owner and Jordan hunting for an alternative V10 supply... November 15 deadline for 2005 championship entries looming on them ... Jaguar spokesman told British newspaper The Guardian that the deadline for any deal has now been extended by 10 days until November 9, just a week before a 2005 entry must be lodged ... Jordan, meanwhile, have been closely linked to an engine deal with Toyota.

Justin Wilson seems to have given up his Formula 1 ambitions for the time being and is hoping to continue his career in the United States next year in Champ Car series, where he missed Rookie of the Year award of 2004 ... Wilson is working with Eric Bachelart's Mi-Jack Conquest Racing in the Champ Car series.

After a second successive disappointing season, 2004 may well prove to be a swansong for David Coulthard ... David concluded an historic 150 grand prix stint for McLaren-Mercedes in Brazil, but he is desperate to prolong his F1 career elsewhere in 2005.

Williams look screwed with the Button deal falling through - BAR might consolidate their position as the second best team in F1. McLaren, inspite of having 2 of the three most talented drivers outside Schumi (Button 3rd) will contniue to struggle if they don't come up with a significantly better car.

And British and French Formula One grands prix have been saved ... So next year we r going to experiance the longest calender in Formula One history with whooping 19 races ... :)

It would be very tough for drivers and all techinal crews of each & every team ... 9 teams also agreed on reduced testing (Notable absentee from this meeting was Ferrari) in this meeting ... And these 9 teams decided to togather in any future issues (will fight unitedly).

Check article on Rediff ...

http://in.rediff.com/sports/2004/nov/10gp.htm

Minardi submitted their entry to the 2005 championship, they have entered as "Minardi European".

http://in.rediff.com/sports/2004/nov/10min.htm

Now only news awaiting of two J's from constructor group.

VKD about Mika's decision we discussed already in this thread ... u can check it there ... viewtopic.php?t=211741

Now about Jordon and Jaguar ... I was waiting for confirm news realted that ...
VKD
Joran have found an engine supplier and will be in the 2005 season with ATI Technologies ... more info on http://www.f1jordan.com/
Its not true, becoz ATI’s FireGLTM workstation graphics cards will be use by Jordan not engine ...
Jordan Grand Prix has signed a supply agreement with ATI Technologies Inc. of Markham, Ontario, Canada*. ATI is a world leader in the supply of graphics, video and multimedia solutions for desktop personal computers, mobile computing, DTV, cell phones, handhelds, consoles and workstation products.
On 12th November Jordon confirmed they will participate in next season's Formula One Championship. Now Jordon close to finalising an engine deal with Japanese car giant Toyota as well as talking to new potential sponsors their entry into the 2005 championship seems assured.

"We haven't submitted it (the entry) yet but we will definetly do so before Monday's deadline.", said a team spokewoman.

Now about Jaguar ... According to the Financial Times, the Jaguars will be sportings wing by Monday, Red Bull Wings.

The highly respected newspaper quotes a team 'insider' as saying: "We've accepted the offer, exchanged contracts - all we have to do now is hand over the keys."

If true, the deal will alllow the team to register its entry in 2005 championship on Monday, therby meeting the deadline.

Officially, however, nothing has been announced by any of the parties (Red Bull and Jaguar) involved.
