It is a friendly. Will count for ranking, but not by much. We are #126 and Maldives #162. A loss would have affected the rankin change much more than a win.

What’s important that we won a match after almost 18 months. We lost to Afghanistan which was a shame. We almost beat Qatar but they cheated.

We need to get our mojo back. We need to score more goals. Non Che-3 ones. Field goals. We need to win big against weaker Asians. Put up a fight/upset strong Asians.

We checked a few boxes yesterday. The challenge begins now.

Have you seen Hamza Choudhary play? He will be playing for Bangladesh. Will he make such a big difference?

We drew 0-0 with Bangladesh. Not good result. Hamza saved a couple of goals as defender. Now we have to win all other matches with higher goal difference. Problem is we can’t score.

I wonder if any of these players could improve the Indian offense? Don't see any big name in the group.
Saw an article somewhere that there is discussion of allowing NRIs with OCI cards to play for Indian football team if they can make a difference.
