I recall Rayhan being highly touted as a youngster. Since then his progress has been steady but slow. Played 5 years in college and played decently. Now he has just cracked the top 1000 OWGR at age 25 but golf is a sport where you can be good for pretty long, so he could still have a long and successful career.

Excellent start by Rayhan Thomas to his career on Korn Ferry Tour.
Good finish in the first event and a T7 in his second event.
Hope he continues his good form over the next few events, where he has guaranteed starts.

The top 20 in the Korn ferry tour get their PGA tour cards. While it is still early, Rayhan is currently in the 13th position. Indian Canadian Sudarshan Yellamaraju is currently 2nd on the list.

Indian origin amateur golfer Megha Ganne has won the 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur title. Megha Ganne is currently a senior at Stanford University.
With this win Megha will get:
1. A gold medal and custody of the Robert Cox Trophy for one year.
2. Exemptions into the next 10 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championships.
3. Exemption into the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally (can play as professional or amateur).
4. Likely invitation to the 2026 Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
5. Likely exemptions into the 2026 Chevron Championship, Amundi Evian Championship, and AIG Women’s Open.
