Every female korean archer won the gold first time they competed in Olympics. So in archery experience is overrated.

Koreans have very strong domestic tournaments and it is very difficult to qualify for olympic pool from their internal trials. The winners from this trial go thru challenges that makes olympics probably a walk in park.

Can we really replicate that level of challenges for our archers?

Maybe I should move a lot of the general archery discussion we had in the Olympics thread to this thread? @HockeywithBilli and some others may not have seen those, as that thread was going at 20 pages a day! There were a lot of comments there that we could go back and look at. It will take some time to wade through and pull them out though :(

Maybe I would rephrase the first statement. When your country is the best in the world and a dominating force, then archery experience is overrated. Maybe in general it is overrated but for that, we need to look at the other archers from other countries to see if choking the first time around is an Indian-only problem.
