That is the question. I think players disappear from the QUALIFYING entry list with ATP (not even shown as "withdrawn") only when they get a wildcard somewhere. They show up in the main draw list when they release it. I am not 100% sure of this though.
Sumit is shown as Withdrawn from the Munich qualifying list (which was the only qualifying list he had entered IIRC).

I too think he is taking the week off because he needs to rest. Yes, main draw entries are hard to get but with his next-week ranking he will be in the main draw or close to it for a lot of ATP tournaments. And, the next few months are a bit less heavy when it comes to defending points I think. So, it is the right decision to take the week off and rest.

I mistyped. I meant they "disappear from MAIN DRAW ALT list", not QUALIFYING ENTRY list. That is what is puzzling me. He disappeared from all three man draw ALT lists suddenly yesterday without a trace :)

All wild cards are awarded now for Barcelona. Seems Sumit is simply taking off next week.

I just hope that this break is due to Sumit wanting to rest and not due to any injury issue. We have had too many player get to their best level and had injuries in the recent past.

Yeah.a break is a good thing..for Sumit .If I am not mistaken, the. top Seed in Munich Qualis( Andreas) is ranked 163, Double than that of Sumit..& The Last Direct Entry in Main Draw was Close to 100 Whereas Sumit's live Ranking is 80.. Nevertheless a good break for him to Regroup & Come Afresh..!! :goodluck:

Fantabulous performance from Sumit. He needs to arrange his schedule to take appropriate breaks. The week break will have him recharged and completely focussed.

More power to this board. Now, we have created a girlfriend for Sumit. Bravo! Step aside Match, Bumble, Tinder, ... Sports-India does it all. You want it, you got it. :-)

Bopanna/Ebden are Still. Ahead by about 900Pts Compared with the 2nd Ranked Team..in Doubles Rankings.

By the Schedule, It seems that Bopanna is taking sumit under his wings,The Airfare/Hotel Stay/Eateries etc..On the Tour Arrangements are Very difficult if you are Alone,With a companion, however you can always share-Consult things, & it really helps,as you have to shell out less money..

It will Only help Sumit more,As he now being ranked inside top 100,Can Play the same Big Tournaments as Bopanna,Share Hotel Rooms/Get some Air Royalty etc..//
