Even you can see kids playing hockey on grass in interior parts of country, especially in jharkhand, odisha, varanasi ( I first time played hockey in varanasi), you will rarely see average child playing tennis!!!!

Looks like no home cooking in Syed Modi event, as he is the only Indian to make the singles QF (among men and women). Two women pairs make QF and play each other, so we will have a SF in womens doubles. No mens doubles pair made the QFs.

Prannoy and Lakshya withdrew and Satwik/Chirag didn't enter and PVS is injured. And Srikanth had a poor loss in the first round. We do not have a lot depth in badminton right now.
