OK. Thanks. Yes standard is high and we got a bronze and 4th place finish last time. So we are there in the mix. But I think now we are doing better than earlier. We have done much better than last Asian games as well we had 2 team silvers. So I expect better performance in next World Games.

Yash down 0-4 , the ease at which he gave initial 2 points was surprising.. He was in tough position but came out albeit with some damage ..

Deepak leads 5-1

I watched Yash's earlier bout and he did not look that good. Surprising that we do not have anyone coming up in 74 kgs where Sushil Kumar used to be there.

Very good couple of wins for Deepak Punia against Baharain and Japan both whom were quite good.

2 of the 3 best wrestlers in Deepak’s weight are Asian and he will have to beat one of them (Daulerbekov who would be next and the Iranian) to reach the final.

Daulerbekov who is current WC bronze medalist lost to Uzbek Shapiev in QF. Shapiev finished 5th and qualified for olympics at recent world championships. So, he is good too.
