The archery gold medals have been the most pleasing, especially as we beat the Koreans (our bugbears at world and Asian level) quite comprehensively while winning most of these golds.

I watched the mixed team compound final. Jyoti Surekha was impeccable alongside the very good Ojas Deotale as they thrillingly beat the Koreans. Each of them won further team golds in the men's and women's compound team events. (The women beat Taiwan in the final). The comprehensive victory of Deotale, Abhishek Verma (silver medalist in 2018) and Pramathesh Jawkar hammered the Koreans 235-230 to clinch the final. Stirring stuff indeed!

Korea did have a shock defeat to Indonesia in the R16 at the World Championships which is why they have no team quota yet.

No Olympic team quota spots given at Asian games. Only individual quota spots which are already given.

Team quota spots will be given at Asian archery championships in November.

Our girls hit 3 10's in first 3 arrows and had to to hit only 3 9's in next 3 arrows to win that set but hit an 8 and 7.

Just like typical Recurve... They will lose missed the opportunity... 0-4 down

Down 0-4 now. Scores of 54 in a set (average of 9 per arrrow) are never going to be enough against Korea.
