She is struggling to hit any ball above her shoulder. Badly missed an overhead and a swinging volley in that last game.

Ankita lost 2-6,2-6. Just wasn’t her day. Have no idea what her chances of getting a LL spot will be.

Doubles draw is out....

Yuki/Demoliner up against the 9th seeds in R1, while Bops/Ebden will be up against a couple of Australian Top-70 singles players.. :goodluck:

[R1] (6) R. Bopanna (IND) /M. Ebden (AUS) v. C. O'Connell (AUS) /A. Vukic (AUS)

[R1] Y. Bhambri (IND) /M. Demoliner (BRA) v. (9) H. Nys (MON) /J. Zielinski (POL)

I'm sure Saki (ALT #1) and Jeevan (ALT #6) will be waiting on the sidelines hoping for some withdrawals to get in as ALTs....

The cut have dropped 6-7 places at all the slams this year for doubles. So, Saketh will have to be extremely unlucky not to get in and fair chance for Jeevan too. Jeevan in fact has got in as alternates with Bala in all 3 slams this year.

That was a good win by Aryan over #84 ranked player. I thought he had bungled after 06 loss in second set but he came back strongly in super tie break.

So, we have Aryan and Yuvan in singles main draw of juniors.
