Mukund lost. Anirudh/VSP through the the FQR with a 11-9 win in the MTB. But they have a tough task awaits when they face singles specialists BUBLIK/Greikspoor tomorrow.

Bad that Mukund lost to such a low ranked. India's singles is in a really deplorable state now. Apart from Sumit who can only play on clay we don't have anyone.

Changed the title from "US" to "N.America" so Mexico is included

Escobedo is a former top-75 singles player and Pacheco-Mendez is the current junior #2 who was #1 just a few weeks ago. It is a good win.prashanthm wrote: ↑Tue Aug 01, 2023 2:57 am [R1] Saketh Myneni (IND) / Luis David Martinez (VEN) d. (WC) Ernesto Escobedo (MEX) / Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez (MEX) 63 26 10-5

Bala/Jeevan pair has not been doing well ever since Jeevan had that injury break couple of months back.
Yuki got a very tough draw against top seeds which included local favorite.

Re: ATP tournaments in N.America (pre-US Open) 2023
Saketh and his partner lost in QF.
At Los Cabos ATP 250, Mexico (Hard)
[QF] Saketh Myneni (IND) / Luis David Martinez (VEN) l. Andrew Harris (AUS) / Dominik Koepfer (GER) 63 36 5-10
So, that is it for the week.
Not sure what Yuki-Saki will do for next couple of weeks.
Yuki has signed up along with Yohishito Nishioka for Toronto and Cincy masters but is 7 out and 5 out respectively. I do not know we see that many withdrawals from masters tournaments.
Saketh will certainly not get into these masters. So, he may play challengers with someone else in those weeks or just take a break.
