Even I hope everyone is proven wrong. Even me. For what I am about to say.
Loose= belt tight / loose

Re: European Challengers 2020
RamK lost set 1 where the only break of serve came from a set where RamK served two back to back DF's and netted a playable ball. I stopped watching after that.

Re: European Challengers 2020
I only watched part of first set and RamK was repeately passed on his second serve and I was cursing him to be still coming in to net on every second serve too. Did not watch second and third sets much. So, not sure if he changed his tactics.
At Eckental Challenger 100, Germany
[SF] Ramkumar Ramanathan (IND,206) d. (Q) Marvin Moeller (GER,1495) 46 61 61
Next,
[F] Ramkumar Ramanathan (IND,206) vs. Sabastian Korda (USA,136)
This one is a tough one for RamK.

Re: European Challengers 2020
I was so busy for a couple of days that I didn't get a chance to come and celebrate RamK's big run.... Man, it feels like ages (maybe because it has actually been ages) since he had a big run at a tournament. Go RamK, Go... May all the net kordas go his way on kord tomorrow against Korda.

RamK vs Sebastian Korda in another 15 minutes. Go RamK. Play loose but don't lose.

Re: European Challengers 2020
At Eckental Challenger 100, Germany
[F] Ramkumar Ramanathan (IND,206) vs. Sabastian Korda (USA,136)
RamK holds after 3 deuces.
1-0 Korda holds at 30.
1-1 RamK saves a bp at 30-40 and holds.
2-1 Korda holds after 1 deuce.
2-2 RamK holds at 30. 2 double faults in that service game but followed it up with 2 aces, last one on second serve. 4 aces, 5 double faults so far, needs to improve on that ratio.
3-2 Korda holds at 30 .
3-3 RamK broken at 30. Some great passing shots by Korda. RamK first serve % is only 44%. Need to bring that up if he wants to hold well. Almost each service game has been a struggle so far due to that.
3-4 Korda holds at love.
3-5 RamK holds at 30. A couple of very good backhand topspin shots there. Why he does not do this more often ? Korda to serve for the set.
4-5 Damn, RamK had 3 break points, 2 at 15-40 when he hit at an easy shot out and then another at ad-out, but Korda somehow holds to take the first set. Missed opportunity there for RamK.

Re: European Challengers 2020
Korda serving 40-30 and the umpire gives the point to Korda as they are playing a point. She says that he was talking loudly! Strange sequence and RamK is upset. It is 3-3 on serve.
