Odisha had 9 other bad districts but in three other separate smaller clusters, but they are testing well, so no worries. There are 20 other bad districts in UP but not in big enough clusters. There is sturdy growth occurring in Jharkhand.
No other contiguous areas in the states had a growth rate more than 50% above our national average today (2.245*1.50 = 3.367%) and 625+ new cases... The bad areas together had +18,786 cases to take their total to 450,797 cases at a bad area growth rate of 4.34%... The rest of the country had +60,671 cases to take their total to 3,168,372 at a good area growth rate of 1.95%. Today's good areas are where 87.5% of our current cases are.

But the news was on Jharkhand suddenly doing 158K tests in a day and finding only 3221 cases at a great 2% positivity. I think this may be a one-day one-off thing to catch a whole lot of cases in a hurry early. Not bad! Good job.

Eleven of 75 districts in UP have bad growth at 3.5% but no cluster more than 400 cases. All cities except Prayagraj are fine now. Seven of 37 districts in TN have bad growth at around 3.5% but all are isolated districts (Coimbatore 500+ needs to be handled). Haryana has 8 districts of bad growth but the largest cluster is about 575 cases with 5.0% growth (Panipat/Karnal area). Jharkhand is out of the bad list today because they picked up a lot of cases a couple of days ago when they ran 158K tests. JH only had a 1000 cases at slow growth today. None of the higher-population Punjab districts were bad today either. Kerala is out of the list and only had 3 bad districts out of 14. West Bengal has had 10 consecutive days of drops in active cases and is well ot of the list (Kolkata is now down to just +393). Bihar is on such a down slope for over two weeks continuously now. Keep an eye on Goa with over 600 cases at 3.6% growth, and Tripura with over 550 cases statewide at a 4.5% growth.
