This is not a surprising result ,considering his playing form, but manner of those losses is worrying, Ram had multiple set points,was even serving for 1st set.
It is not about Ram the Tennis player, this is 10th or 11th tournament he is playing in a row and physically there is no problem, but it is Ram having lost the mental focus to win consistently, and now has trouble even overcoming lower ranked players.
There was absolutely no need to play here considering he has been playing nonstop since the French Open, and from now on hope he doesn't play not even a single tournament till the USO qualies and heads straight to the Academy to recover,and figure out with Emilio to overcome the mental demons.
