Out title drought continues. :-(

At 2019 Yonex Canada Open (BWF Super 100)

[F] (6) PARUPALLI Kashyap (IND,36) l. LI Shi Feng (CHN,126) 22-20 14-21 17-21

Feng is last youth olympic gold medalists. But, he has beaten in the past by Laskhya Sen. So, in this context Lakhsya's progress so far on senior tour has not been great.

Yes, good win by Sindhu indeed but hope she followes that up. Up against third ranked Chinese Chen Yu Fei next. Sindhu is 4-3 overall against her. Expect this to be a close match.

Kim Ji Hyun steps down as Indian women’s singles coach
(She) has stepped down to attend to her ailing husband, Ritchie Marr, in New Zealand, who suffered a neuro stroke.
What bad luck for us! Now we got to find a new coach with Olympics around the corner. :-( Hope Ritchie Marr recovers from his stroke.

Rising Indian shuttler Malvika Bansod kickstarted her senior international career with back-to-back titles in Maldives and Nepal over the last two weeks.

Bansod, 18, is still in the final season of her junior career and had never played a senior tournament before going to Male last week. The Nagpur-based girl won the Future Series tournament without dropping a game.

Hopefully someone to carry the mantle after Sindhu and Saina. Let's see how quickly she gets to the top 100.
