Re: Indian Badminton Thread ...
Yes, good win by Sindhu indeed but hope she followes that up. Up against third ranked Chinese Chen Yu Fei next. Sindhu is 4-3 overall against her. Expect this to be a close match.

Kim Ji Hyun steps down as Indian women’s singles coach
What bad luck for us! Now we got to find a new coach with Olympics around the corner. Hope Ritchie Marr recovers from his stroke.(She) has stepped down to attend to her ailing husband, Ritchie Marr, in New Zealand, who suffered a neuro stroke.

Re: Indian Badminton Thread ...
Rising Indian shuttler Malvika Bansod kickstarted her senior international career with back-to-back titles in Maldives and Nepal over the last two weeks.
Bansod, 18, is still in the final season of her junior career and had never played a senior tournament before going to Male last week. The Nagpur-based girl won the Future Series tournament without dropping a game.
Hopefully someone to carry the mantle after Sindhu and Saina. Let's see how quickly she gets to the top 100.
