Yes, this was Joshna's consecutive 3rd win ... She defeated her last year in April at the El Gouna International Open, Egypt and in the Asian Games team event.

Joshna enters into the quarters with an upset win over the WR #6 Britisher, Sarah-Jane Perry ... After one game all, Joshna faced stiff resistance from Sarah-Jane, but she won next 2 closely fought games and completed win in four games ... Next, she is facing the WR #5 Joelle King.

Joshna lost a close match against the WR #5 Joelle King ... In the first 3 games, Joshna was a better player on the court, but she lost the second game on extra points ... In the final 2 games, Joelle showed more consistency and played patiently for a win.

Joshna lost in five games against the Belgian youngster ... Joshna started badly and lost first 2 games, she tried fightback and won the next two games ... But in the final game, she was tired and Gilis took advantage of it.
