Re: ATP Tournaments Asia - September-October 2018
Both Ramkumar and Prajnesh lost in Q1 of the tough ATP500 tournaments for next week. In Tokyo, Prajnesh lost 46 26 to Martin Klizan (SVK, 49), while Ramkumar lost at the China Open in Beijing to Tennys Sandgren (USA, 55) 16 26. Very tough qualifiers both...

Dodig-Pavic are too good. Jeevan must have learnt a thing or two playing such a good team. This was indeed a good week for him and his partner.

Excellent week for Jeevan/Austin, who are becoming an effective ATP pair.
But the final was the easiest match Dodig/Pavic played all week. They were taken to STBs by Paes/Reyes-Varela, Mochanov/Zelenay, and Gonzalez/Qureishi in the previous three rounds.

Re: ATP Tournaments Asia - September-October 2018
Divij-Artem took advantage of a good draw to advance to the last-16 of the Shanghai Masters:
[R1] Divij Sharan/Artem Sitak (IND/NZL) d. WC-Mao-Xin Gong/Ze Zhang (CHN/CHN) 63 64
They play 3rd seeded Kubot/Melo next -- and the winner of that would meet Rohan/Roger (if the latter win their next 2 matches).

I think, this is Divij's first Masters tournament ... Good to see they took advantage of weaker opponents.

Re: ATP Tournaments Asia - September-October 2018
Wonderful to see Yuki back in action. And a pretty good draw; his opponent was the last man accepted into the draw, although Yuki is now ranked lower. If Yuki is back in real playing shape, he should win this on a hard court, but of course we have found that he takes 2-3 matches to get back in full form after a break.
