ATP Tournaments in North America, July-August 2018
The post-Wimbledon ATP tournament swing begins at Newport, with the last grass tournament of the season -- where RamK and Prajnesh are currently in the qualifying (although Ramkumar is likely to make the main draw). There could be a few doubles pairs featuring Indians there too.
In Atlanta (the week starting July 23), Yuki will be in the main draw, and RamK and Prajnesh could be playing the qualifiers (assuming Prajnesh's injury has healed by then). Similarly, Yuki is in the main draw at the Washington ATP (where he qualified and made the QF last year).
Then there will be the Canada and Cincinnati Masters, where Yuki and RamK respectively did well last year.

Re: ATP tournaments in north America, July-August 2018
RamK has now made the main draw at Newport ATP on grass next week. Prajnesh is still in the qualifying entry list and should be among 8 seeds if he plays there.
There is good deal of Indian presence in doubles too. Entry lists show Purav along with Ken Skupski, Leander with Cerretani and Jeevan with Krajicek.

I thought our South Indian express will be here as well. Maybe they are staying in Europe?

Nice to see Leander back in action. Hopefully his personal litigation is over and he can focus on tennis again.

Prajnesh is in the qualifiers of Newport and is up against Alessandro Bega (ITA, 310).
In the Main Draw, RamK is slated to face a qualifier in the first round.

Re: ATP tournaments in north America, July-August 2018
Prajnesh's match is in progress, 3-3 in the first set...
On a different note, I'm hoping Yuki, and probably RamK will be in the Rogers cup (Toronto) qualies....
I might be able to get myself to the stadium over the weekend for qualies. Anyone else planning to be there?

Re: ATP tournaments in north America, July-August 2018
Prajnesh seemed out of the contest after losing the first set and being a break down in the second, but came back strongly to take the second set 7-5, but eventually lost the 3rd set after going a break down in the middle of it... Not sure if he is ailed by an injury, otherwise there is no reason to lose today...

Unfortunate loss for Prajnesh, who must be rusty from the enforced rest after his injury before the Wimbledon qualifiers. But that he lasted 3 sets is a hopeful sign.

Great to see the heavy Indian representation in doubles. It would have been even better if some of them could have played together (as a pair!).

Ramkumar plays the 37 year old Victor Estrella Burgos (DOM, 198) in R1 at Newport. Never an easy match against the crafty veteran, but hopefully RamK will pull out a win!

Again Divij shows amazing ability to adjust with a new partner as he and Jackson Withrow started with a comfortable win over American wild-card pair.

Re: ATP tournaments in north America, July-August 2018
Divij rises to yet another career high of 36.
Surprisingly the successful partnership with Sitak is already over; the latter is partnering Erlich at Newport.
