RamK's conqueror Mmoh beat Bautista-Agut to reach the 3rd round. Clearly Ram had the misfortune to run into an inform player for the second tournament running.

And Ram was serving for the first set , had he won that set it would have been a different story..

5am in Singapore is an awful time. (But maybe I'll be so exhausted after my own Master's singles final -- for the over-50s -- at my club in Singapore this afternoon that I'll crash out early and be up in time to watch at 5am: good scenario :D ).
And 2:30am IST, so only the diehards will get to watch back home...

I don't think the match will start at 5 PM EST (2:30 AM IST). All the prior matches - 2 men's singles, 1 men's doubles, and 1 women's singles - will at least take 7-8 hours to finish. Yuki's match will most likely start around 4:30 AM IST, which is 7 AM Singapore time. Maybe our members in India will need to wake up a couple of hours early, but otherwise it's a good time that should suit most forumites.

Your commentary is bringing good luck, Sam, so no matter what time the match starts, you are not allowed to sleep. We need you to report the scores live, no less :p

Was checking the losses suffered by Jack Sock in 2017. He seems to have lost to Jordan Thompson twice, Rublev once, Nadal twice,Sugita ferrer anderson demund each once, ofner once, vesely once, mahut once, steve johnson and nishioka once each, federer twice, dimitrov once, dolgopolov and goffin once each. Of course he has beaten many top players too but that is expected since he has risen to top ten in 2017. If Yuki can religiously manage to hold his serve, he has a reasonable chance in my opinion.

Walked on court. Boisterous crowd so Yuki will have to keep calm as they no doubt will try and get under his skin.

Yuki won the toss and chose to receive

Good cheer for Yuki so not without any support.

TV is still showing Court 1 action for me (Anderson vs Basilashvili). I hope they shift to Grandstand soon.
