Re: 2018 European Tour
Good effort by SSP although he could have had an even stronger finish. Good to see Subhankar Sharma get a top 10 finish on the European tour!

Re: 2018 European Tour
SSP led from day 1 till the 8th hole of the last round.
Disaster struck on the 9th hole with a TRIPLE BOGEY
That derailed his round as he made few more bogeys to finish that low.
Even if he had come in with a par round after the 9th hole he would have finished 2nd.
Well, the 9th was the hardest hole all week and it took the tile away from SSP.
Must be tough for SSP after leading the tournament for 64 holes....
for this weeks event in Mauritius.

Re: 2018 European Tour
Great start for Arjun ... I really hope he remains focused in next three days ... These days his chances frizzle out in the last two rounds (may be due to lack of the focus or fitness).

Re: 2018 European Tour
Arjun Atwal just completed his final round and scored a 3 under par round and is tied first with Frittelli.
He missed the eagle putt at the final hole or else he would have won outrightly.
He will now play a playoff to decide the winner.

Yes, until the last hole before losing in the play-off ... Big missed opportunity for Arjun.

Re: 2018 European Tour
Very pleasant surprise from Arjun Atwal, perhaps inspired by his friend Tiger Woods' resurgence during the week as well. Arjun hadn't been able to sustain four good rounds for a long time, so it was wonderful that he came so close to winning an EPGA tournament. Of course, playing in Mauritius is almost a home tournament for Indians!
