Re: Divij Sharan thread
And this week Divij moves 1 spot ahead and is for the first time in top 50 in the doubles world rankings at #50.
He has final points(65) to defend this week in Bratislava but nothing more this year. I don't know if he is playing Pune/Bangalore challengers in next 2 weeks. If he is and can win a title or both, it will improve his ranking few more spots in the year end rankings.

Re: Divij Sharan thread
Divij and Elgin lost the QF to Sancic/Arends 4-6 7-6 4-10 . Of course, it's not easy for Divij to keep winning with random partners week in, week out.

Re: Divij Sharan thread
True. But even then he seems to play high level matches, like today. It was a close loss in an STB. Divij is really playing some very good doubles.

Does anyone know if he is playing Pune and Bengaluru? If so who is he partnering with?

Re: Divij Sharan thread
Divij is at a new career high doubles ranking of 47 now. He has had an excellent year starting from a ranking of 63 and improving it 47 now despite breaking up his partnership with Purav in the middle of the year and having to play with different partners thereafter. Also earned a prize money of $129K this year which is pretty good.

Re: Divij Sharan thread
After a SF appearance at the Maharashtra Open ATP with Yuki, Divij is playing at the Canberra CH partnering Jonathan Elrich. They are seeded second and will play a local WC pair.
This would mean that D and Rajeev Ram will go into AO without playing together. Perhaps the decision was taken late?

Re: Divij Sharan thread
Divij and Purav were the losing finalists at the Chennai ATP last year, so they have respectively fallen to 49 and 67 in the live doubles rankings now.

Re: Divij Sharan thread
Congrats Divij on another title.
Moves him to 48 in world rankings and should give him confidence ahead of the Australian open.
