Re: Username password errors
I was forced to update my password today... Do we know if this is a site wide issue?

Re: Username password errors
Hi! Everybody. I'm your old pal Tolamu in a forced new avatar. I can't log in my account. I'm asked to change a new password. I tried changing it. But I can't submit it. A message like 'some characters are missing' appears. Dhruv, please help. I love my old account.

Re: Username password errors
Just to remind everybody - here is something I had posted a long time ago in the other password thread. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=213300&start=79
Yeah it fools you into thinking something is wrong. Just for everybody to remember. Don't panic, simply click the "board index" above after any password change and move on!

Re: Username password errors
I have got logged out of SI on my office computer. I don't recall the passwd (the usual culprits didn't seem to work) and I tried to reset my password but never received the email on my recovery email id (even checked spam). Any suggestions as to how I should fix things before I completely locked out.

Re: Username password errors
Use this device that you’re logged in right now to post this message to change your password and use that to login to your office computer and then change the password to whatever you wish?

Re: Username password errors
Thanks Atithee. Your method would definitely would have worked if the stored password on the other computer was correct. It wasn't the case but I finally succeeding in getting the email with a password reset. So now I am back in control.

Re: Username password errors
