Shocking results from Pakistan. Yesterday they were beaten 4-0 by Holland. I thought that was a really one sided game, but today they lost 6-0 to Canada!! That is a disgrace.

Perhaps the bookies are taking bets on their hockey team?

Good performance against Canada today. Generally, we controlled the game apart from 2 yellow and 1 green card in last 20 mins. I like the way we just killed the game when we needed to. This kind of intelligent play was not possible from our teams of the past. Now we just pass the ball around with quick, safe passes and towards the end of the quarters (usually a nervy time for us), we were taking the ball into the corners of the pitch and just ticking off the minutes.

We have 2 wins, but we can't really tell if we have improved to another level until we play Holland, England or Argentina. I'd like to see us control matches against these kind of teams.

Tomorrow, we will play Pakistan, who have been a shambles so far....so expect them to raise their game for us! I think we are guaranteed 2nd place in the group so will avoid England and Argentina in the quarters.

India 6 Pakistan 0!! Ten mins left.
We are toying with them now. Gulf in class is unbelievable. Pakistan are playing like Indian teams from mid 1970s to about 2012! We are just passing it around at good speed and creating spaces easily. Pakistan look dumb, slow and can't mark.

Finished 7-1. Sweet revenge for some of the many huge losses we have suffered at Pakistan's hands in the past.

Some stunning goals and excellent performances from some of my 'favourite' players- Akashdeep and Talwinder! Harmanpreet is outstanding and pleased to see Sumit doing so well.

Let's hope for similar performances in the remaining matches.

Good to see consistent and decisive wins by India! The remaining matches against the more professional teams should give them a better challenge...

Good to see that we are way ahead of the next rung of hockey nations. 4-1 against Scotland, 3-0 against Canada (who beat Pakistan 6-0) and 7-1 against Pakistan is very pleasing to see (although Pakistan really seem to have fallen to abysmal lows).

It is odd to see Scotland play separately (probably here and in the Commonwealth Games). At the Olympics, they are part of Great Britain, I believe, and also at World Cups.

India lose 1-3 to Netherlands to finish second in their pool.

I think we play Malaysia in the QF with a potential SF against the winners of ARG-PAK.

Disappointing to see us losing yet again to Holland. We need to start getting results against them, Germany & Australia in major tournaments.
Let's hope we bring our best form to the Malaysia game (unlike the horror show at the Azlan Shah cup recently).

Pleased to see Akashdeep scoring so many goals. In fact, Ramandeep has contributed well too. I hope continue to prove me wrong in the remaining matches and also in the future.

We are 2-0 down against Malyasia in the first half. :damn:

Ok, we get 1 back thru Ramandeep goal.

And another one from a PC rebound for Ramandeep makes it 2-2. :D

It is 2-2 at half time.

Malaysia go 3-2 up in 4th quarter with PC goal. :-(

And we lose 2-3. :damn:

The referees looked dead against us. But, still we should have won.
