And a press release from the Federation bemoaned the fact that not even the rule change had incentivised the senior players figuring in league competitions overseas to play domestic events in India.
Reacting to that, Sharath said: “I have nothing to prove to anybody. Ultimately, it is left to (India’s foreign coach Massimo) Constantini to decide the team.”
