And he closes it out easily. 6-4 6-2. A great win. Will take him to 260-265 in the live rankings!

Re: Sanam Singh Thread
3rd time lucky for Sanam against Dancevic
He goes to a career best 263 in the live rankings though of course some players will go past him next week and the points only get updated a week from now.
Couple of good tournaments more before the end of the year and Sanam will be ranked high enough to enter the AO qualies.

Congrats SS , a well deserved title perhaps for missing out a lot of CH appearances. As Suresh said, counting SS for anything depends on what mood he is in, I have never seen him hungry and consistent for making it to the top notch.Otherwise he should be in top -100 any soon.

Re: Sanam Singh Thread
Brilliant stuff by Sanam. Winning a $15K in North America is not easy ! His second win of the season after the one in Kansas. Deserved career high and I hope he pushes on with some good results in the India Challengers
Ended a long winning run for Dancevic ( 19 matches, 3 titles I believe)

Finally, Sanam sorts out Dancevic. Congratulations to Sanam won a 15K Futures title. He needs to play challengers in Asia now.

Re: Sanam Singh Thread
Great job by Sanam to (finally) beat Dancevic, a quality player who certainly shouldn't be playing Futures!
I look forward to Sanam bolstering his points tally in the India (and other Asia) Challengers next month.

Re: Sanam Singh Thread
Excellent win by Sanam, Winning 2 futures titles this season in North America is really good. In the last 2 futures of this Canada futures series, Sanam certainly achieved what he had set out for to play this series (maximise his points and improve his ranking) instead of playing challengers in Asia/North America where he would got in.
It looks like now it back to Asia for Sanam as he is one out from Hi Chi Minh Challenger in 2 weeks time and then should be playing 2 India challengers. Needs to pick up 35 or so points at the least from the rest of the year to be inside top 250 and make the cut for Australian open qualies. If he stays in good form he can do much better than that.

Re: Sanam Singh Thread
Sanam is at a career high singles ranking of 266 this week. Only 23 points to defend for the rest of the year which would mean he will need around 40 points to end the year in top 250 to make it to AO qualies. I think this is very much achievable by him as he now started competing in India and Asia.

Re: Sanam Singh Thread
Sanam is getting married on November 27. So that is the reason for him not playing the Indian Futures, or any other tournaments, for that matter. Congratulations to him!

Re: Sanam Singh Thread
Thanks, Vatsal. Actually, one of the forum members had sent me a PM informing me that Sanam is getting married when I was ranting about him not playing anywhere and ending his season early.
However, I had not posted it waiting for some official confirmation.
Congratulations to Sanam and hope the lady luck takes his career forward next year.

Re: Sanam Singh Thread
Sanam will play in the $50K+H Kyoto Challengers next week. He is in the MD & in the alternates VSP(5 out), Jeevan (7 out), Karunuday(14 out).
With more withdrawals I think VSP and Jeevan will make the MD. But I don't think Karu will play the Q.

Sanam is facing lowly ranked Japanese qualifier Kibi in the first round but in Japanese condition local players can be dangerous.
At $50K Kyoto Challenger, Japan
[R1] Sanam Singh (IND,271) vs (Q) Yuya Kibi (JPN,658)
