The new season has already begun.After the Avantha Masters,the 2nd Indian tournament is the SAIL-SBI open being played this week. After 2 rounds, Anirban Lahiri is at the top and 5 other Indians including Gaganjeet Bhullar,Manav Jaini,Rahil Gangjee are in the Top-10.

Congrats to Anirban Lahiri. That is the second title on the APGA tour for him, I believe, both in the last few months.

LAHIRI EARNS OPEN DEBUT
Anirban Lahiri of India earned his Major debut at The Open Championship after shooting a final round five-under-par 67 at the International Final Qualifying (IFQ) on Friday.

Lahiri, winner of the SAIL-SBI Open in India last week, led the trio of Prayad Marksaeng, who shot the best round of 64, Kodai Ichihara of Japan and Mardan Mamat of Singapore, who sealed the fourth and final ticket after winning in a three-way play-off against compatriot Lam Chih Bing and Jonathan Moore of the United States.

Congrats to Anirban Lahiri for qualifying his first Major ... Also happy to see he won this the International Final Qualifying tournament to qualify.

Congrats to Anirban, who seems to be in a rich vein of form. A bit surprising that the final qualifiers for the Open are held more than three months before the event...

Great to see the emergence of another promising Indian. The Jeev, Jyoti, Shiv Kapur, Arjun Atwal, Daniel Chopra pioneer cohort who looked very promising over the last 4-5 years seem to be on the downswing in their careers. Gaganjeet Bhullar seems to have stagnated as well without reaching the levels of the pioneer cohort, so it will be great to see another Indian compete in a Grand Slam.

Another Indian winner this week on the Asian Tour. Digvijay Singh ended a 12 year wait to win his first title when he won the Panasonic Open at the Delhi Golf Club today. Also 8 other Indians finished in the top-10. Congratulations to Digvijay Singh. :clap:

Yes sir, you are right. I missed out Harmeet Kahlon in that list. He too was T10.
