The event will be played at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in a round robin format.

Indian girls off to a winning start
Indian eves trounced their New Zealand counterparts 3-2 in their first match of the 22nd Lal Bahadur Shastri Under-21 Four Nation women`s hockey tournament.

India looked a distant shadow of what they were in the first half as the physically tougher Kiwis came hard on the Indian goal post.
Interesting choice of words by the journalist :D

Where do they find these journalists?

The article is full of grammatical and usage errors. Since when does a narrow 3-2 win equate to "trounced"?

The goalposts better be sanitized before the next match! :D

ok so we proved to be just one match wonder and lost to Germany 2-1 to miss out on Final.

Usual rubbish result just when it matters.
Usual excuses about PCs & umpiring.

I expect we will lose to Australia in the 3/4th place play off....simply because we ALWAYS lose to Aussie teams.
Bad day all round for both U21 men & women today.

India beat Australia 3-2 to take the third place while Germany beat New Zeland 3-2 in the final.
