At 21st ICL World Men's Team Squash Championship, Chennai, India
(December 6th - 12th, 2007)

For 7th Positions -
(10) India l (8) Netherlands 0-3

Saurav Ghosal l Laurens Jan Anjema 10-11(1-3) 4-11 4-11
Ritwik Bhattacharya l Dylan Bennett 6-11 4-11 7-11
Siddharth Suchde l Piedro Schweertman W/O

With that India finished on 8th position ... This is our best performance but still I m disappointed by performance in last 2 matches ... Pakistan finished on 9th position, that means first-time ever we finished ahead of Pakistan in Squash Team events.

Australia surprised formidable Egypt in semis ... Now they r playing final against last edition's Champion England ... David Palmer, who defeated WR #1 Amr Shabana yesterday, continuing with his super form ... Today he defeated England's #1 Nick Matthew in closly fought 5 games and created hope for Australia ... England managed to win 2nd match, so now all comes down to 3rd match which is going on.

Wow, taking a game off the world number one is quite an achievement for Saurav. I hope he carries his good form through the 5-8 placement matches.
