In all seriousness, rugby is a great sport, and this thread is quite appropriate.
I would like to have some threads regarding these sports. Should we make some. Like I cannot make them all alone but we all have to make them. I am thinking of making floorball.

But the main thing is to post.

‘‘I’ve played rugby through school, for my club Bombay Gymkhana and the Indian team’’, says actor Rahul Bose. ‘‘It’s a sport like no other, a game filled with passion, terrific rigour and spontaneity. It teaches certain things like teamwork, and needs ability to perform with heart,’’ says Bose.
Pasted from an article in Indian Express...couple of years old...but says it all!!!!!

Nice. I like what you said. THat's the reason i like rugby. It just motivates you to play for your jersey colour. You country. when you are in the field you just don't care about anything except winning the match for your country.

Many players play for money. That's why you don't see real brazilian team in olympics and nor do you see serena. So some people only play to become famous and have money.

I don't know about Indians.
Maybe they do play for their countries. ON second thought all of them play for their country.

India national sevens beat Dubai Froga 28-12 in the finals to emerge winners of the Istanbul Rugby 7s tournament. We beat Bakirkoy of Turkey 28-0 in the quarterfinals and Ottomans RFC of Istanbul 54-0 in the semifinals.

Wow, India won two consecutive tournaments in as many weeks. Our team won the Bee's international 7s rugby tournament in UK beating Yorkshire greens 26-24 in the finals. This is a much tougher tournament than the Istanbul 7s and is a very good win for our team. We will next play in the Shanghai 7s which is one of the most prestigious tournaments in Asia starting September 4th. Go India

After two good tournaments India failed miserably at the Shanghai 7s, which is a premiere tournament for all the Asian teams. Almost all the top countries from Asia participated in the event and India lost to Malaysia 28-0!! I wonder how well we can play in the Asian games!

Thanks usaindian, for sharing this link.

Really excited to see young Indian, Hrishikesh Pendse, getting chance to rub his shoulders with top All Blacks rugby players in New Zealand professional league with North Shore.
