Muniyappa had a horrible third round of 78, and Bhullar shot a poor 76, so they languish at T61 and T72 respectively. Jeev had his best round of the tournament (70), and thus moved up to T32.

Jyoti Randhawa remains very much in contention, in this spectacularly strong field. The leaderboard is now headed by Phil Mickelson, with Tiger Woods one stroke behind. Jyoti (-2 after 17 holes) is alone in 7th place, four strokes behind Tiger (who is -2 today after 15 holes, while Phil is -4 after 15).

Why Jeev always finishes his round with a bogey! He was 3 under.
Definitely not a good sign of a good golfer.

great job by Jyoti and Jeev in 3rd round. Muni had a bad day while Gagan had a bad hole on 18th as he gave away 3 strokes on that particular hole itself. Gagan could not make a single birdie today.

Jyoti plays in the penultimate group, along with Ryan Moore and Lee Westwood. I guess Jyoti would be aiming for top5. He is too far to be in contention. Hopefully, Jeev will also improve his position. The last round is starting now. Here are the current positions of some selected players.

Its a birdie feast today, but not for our guys :( Maruyama had a round of -9.
Ernie Els and McIlroy have -7 and still playing. Then there are many -6 and -5. However, surprisingly Tiger was +4 a little while ago, but two back to back birdies brought him to +2 for the day. Unfortunately, Jyoti is also +2 and T23.

Jeev finished with -2 and currently T31. Unfortunately, Gagan and Muni are occupying the last two spots on the leaderboard.

Sad to see Jyoti fade away on the final day after doing so well earlier in the tournament. He does seem to succumb to pressure on the really big occasions when he has big-name playing partners :damn:

Jyoti couldnt pull off a good round finish highr up or be in contention.
He somehow was playing very cautiously, making sure to get PAR's and never looked aggresive.
Jeev had a below par tournament, maybe tired after 3 gruelling rounds in the hilly course at World Matchplay and than the long flight to China. For Bhullar & Muni, its the experience which counts rather than the money or WR points.

All are now off to play in Hongkong and will be joined by Shiv, Anirban, Digvijay, Rahil, Gaurav etc...
I have a feeling we will have better result this week..
