Any forum member interested in playing a lead role in a Hollywood movie? Sorry Sandeep, Jaydeep, Puneet, Arun, and other younger members of SI - Aishwarya Rai is not in this movie, and the producers are looking for a Math "Professor" type of a "mature" person. Do you think Jay or PKB will fit the role? :D

Read all about the movie Hollywood is making about the Indian math genius Srinivasa Ramanujan Iyengar. The producer wants an Indian to play the role.

I watched 'Inside Man' yesterday and I was in for surprise when the movie started with song from Hindi film.. and ended with the same song..

Movie was good entertainment, though it had some glaring loopholes...

There are very few movies which lived upto the beauty of books. I will not be surprised if Da Vinci code is a let down as it is a very widely read book.

Between, I didn't read the book. May be there are still some souls left who can still enjoy the movie :)

Its very difficult to cover the minute details covered in a book or novel and the cinema usually ends down as a dramatised stripped down version.

Some movies like bourne supremacy bears little resembalcne to the book at all.

Dan brown got his inspiration from novels of the 90's like the name of the rose and secret history ,thrillers that combined puzzles and mystery to keep the reader guessing what happens next.
Not sure how the film version will proceed. from the trailers i watched, i noticed atleast two-three instances that coirresponded to the book.

I saw "departed" last week. Because I had seen the original 'Internal affairs' HK movie with english subtitles, this movie wasn't that great. If you have not seen Internal affairs before, this movie could be okay.

I know some of you here didn't like Namesake, the book, but that shouldn't stop you from going and seeing Namesake, the movie.  I got to see it this past weekend and it is really very well made.  Tabu did an amazing job and so did the other actors.  Go and watch it!  I am curious to see what PKB the others think of the movie.
