India in Winter games
Some of the forum members who live in Europe and North America would be quite familiar with winter sports, and there may be some members in India who might have followed some winter sports also.

Who is going to watch and cheer for the Indian team in the winter olympics when you see 4 of them skating on an ice rink carrying the Indian flag with pride representing India and 1.08 billion people. Showing that India can do it too instead of having a very little area with proper ice or snow cover.

Shiva Keshavan's hard working is paying off. He won his first interanational medal (a bronze in singles) in the Asia Cup held at Nagano, Japan.

Kudos to Shiva !!!Keshavan's podium finish came at an event where 21 of Asia's top luge athletes from Japan, South Korea, China and Taiwan were in the fray

Nice PTI report about Shiva Keshavan on Rediff site ... Where Sports Illustrated magazine quoted Shiva as one of six athletes likely to charm spectators at this week's Winter Olympic Games in Turin, Italy.
'Keshavan will win hearts in Turin'
