As we had often come back to discussing economic benefits/impact of sports I thought it was about time for an economic discussion forum.

RV,

I do not know about the situation in India but a career in 'Sports Management' can be very lucrative in USA. Have you contacted people at Globosports (Mahesh Bhupathi) or other similar agencies? Gaining experience at one of those places will be beneficial before stepping out on your own.

Good luck.

Check this out...

If you are interested in a career in sports and you happen to live in NY, here is a degree that might help you out. I am doing this part time (finance and development track). I hope to do some work in the field once I have my degree :) Networking in the area is the key and I've met some wonderful people!
