Sen beats Prannoy to make QF. Very surprised that #8 Sen had to play and beat #6 Ginting in the first round.

Satwik-Chirag in last 8 as well but now run into their Malaysian nemesis pair.

Only 8 seeds in badminton. Sen must have been outside the top 8 when the draws were made and lousy luck to go with it.

What was sad to see is the way Srikanth got thrashed. I think his career is drawing to a close.

Smilarly Saina lost in 3 games. She has been struggling with 3 game matches this year. Must be a stamina issue. 2022 or at most 2023 could be the last year for her as well.

Lakshya doesn't have a difficult quarter final. Hope he wins it.

And in the overall scheme of things hope Prannoy makes it to the year end finals. He definitely deserves it.

Both Lakshya and Satsik-Chirag lost their QF matches at Denmark open. Not a good tournament for us.

Thanks for sharing. Per the draw, he appears to be the 4th seed. The top seed in the W-19 event is an Indian.

It was an amazing win by Satwik-Chirag over world #1 Japanese pair in straight games 23-21 21-18.

Satwik-Chirag meet an unseeded Korean pair in the SF.

Yes, Sankar Muthusamy becomes only 4th Indian to reach final of world championships after Saina Nehwal, Aparna Popat and Siril Verma.

He plays a Taiwanese player in the final. Can he become only the second one to win a world championship title since Saina ?
