True. But, the seedings and the draw was not remade. So, LS was supposed to make the semis and he did. Now, he is in the finals. Win it all Lakshya.

Terrific match by Lakshya Sen to beat the world champion Loh Kean Yew 24-22, 21-17 in the BWF Indian Open final. It was a high-quality match, and Sen was in the lead almost throughout (in fact, in the second game, he was never trailing). This guy looks like the real deal!

While Loh is #15 in the rankings, he's been playing at a top 5 level in recent months including winning the world championship. The Indonesians are WR #2. Hopefully, they can keep building from here.
