True. But, the seedings and the draw was not remade. So, LS was supposed to make the semis and he did. Now, he is in the finals. Win it all Lakshya.

Terrific match by Lakshya Sen to beat the world champion Loh Kean Yew 24-22, 21-17 in the BWF Indian Open final. It was a high-quality match, and Sen was in the lead almost throughout (in fact, in the second game, he was never trailing). This guy looks like the real deal!

Quality wins for both Lakshya and Satwik/Chirag!

While Loh is #15 in the rankings, he's been playing at a top 5 level in recent months including winning the world championship. The Indonesians are WR #2. Hopefully, they can keep building from here.

She always underperforms except at the big stage. So, let's see. Anyway, Sindhu and Saina will be done very soon. We need new blood. Lakshya is coming up on the men's side. What about the next woman?

Which is better than getting injured. But, he has to use this experience to improve his fitness and long-term stamina so that he can go multiple weeks when big tournaments happen back to back.

Amongst girls Tasnim Mir seems promising. I remember some girl with name Aditi is also there.
Not sure who is amongst the senior ladies. Aakarshi is one. Not sure how good though. In any case no one in top 50 or ven 75 I think.
