Re: European Series Tournaments March 2022
Mithun Manjunath beat 22nd ranked Dane Vittinghus in the QF which was a pretty big scalp for him. Some close losses for our young players- Last week's winners Kiran George and Anupama Upadhyay lost in second round and QF respectively, Anupama in a close third game. 19 year old Meiraba Luwang lost in a close match in second round. Still will be worth watching how these 3-4 youngsters do rest of this year to see if any of them have potential to reach top 30 or so level to start with.

Mithun Manjunath lost in final against the Frenchman Popov 11-21 19-21.
We made finals in all 4 weeks in mens singles of this European series tournaments but lost all 4 finals. Lasksya Sen in first 2 weeks, Prannoy in week 3 and now Mithun Majunath. Still, our mens singles is looking up compared to last couple of years which were not good. Good results started coming towards second half of last year and that has continued this year.
